Steven Schechterman, MD joined Fairbanks Cancer Care Physicians (FCCP) in October of 2014 and enjoys the unique outdoor activities offered by Alaska and working with the team at FCCP.

Dr. Schechterman attended medical school at the University of Virginia, followed by a residency at the Medical College of Virginia. He completed his fellowship at Georgetown University and is Board Certified in Medical Oncology.

When not seeing patients, Dr. Schechterman enjoys hiking, bicycling, foreign travel, and playing his guitar.
